HI beautiful couples! My name is Wes, owner, wedding videographer and editor at Focused in Media. With my wife's help, we are curating wedding video heirlooms.
I understand videos value, and its ability to convey emotion and tell story. While video started as a hobby, it quickly transitioned into a serious career pursuit. I was blessed with to meet talented creatives in the wedding industry early on. I began training under their direction, and found myself fully immersed in and embracing the wedding film industry.
Since the start, we have worked to build a quality brand, company culture, and style. We are deeply committed to an honest and informative approach with our couples. We understand that this approach helps establish trust as a foundation. Our goal is to nurture your discovery process and guide you into an informed decision.
When it comes to style, I would describe it as photo realistic, with a documentary or editorial feel. If its moody, I'll portray it moody. If the venue is bright and airy, I will preserve that. If its high elegance, the edit will match. If its casual or quirky, I will maintain that vibe. You put a lot of effort into planning the mood and motif of your day, and it's my responsibility to preserve that, not reinvent it
I want to capture your day naturally and accurately, without creating a staged or over produced feel. Of course, we will focus on some creative and dramatic beauty sequences when appropriate, but in general, I want the viewer to feel as if they are there, present and experiencing the day. I want the viewer to experience the joys of the day, not be distracted by camera tricks.
We accomplish this by using some of the top industry video, audio and lighting tools, along with ever improving technical skills, all of which ensure your day is expertly captured and crafted.
