About the job
This position is responsible for overseeing all phases of a project to ensure completion in a safe and efficient manner. Carpenters, superintendents and project managers work closely together to deliver a successful project to the client.

Education / Experience:
High school diploma or GED certificate
Completion of a vocational carpentry program or apprenticeship
OSHA 30 certification
3-5 years as a Journey Level Carpenter
3-5 years as a construction Foreman
Core Responsibilities / Duties:
• Self-Perform Carpentry duties as needed
• Delegates individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors
• Leads in owner/architect/contractor meetings
• Manages subcontractors
• Estimates materials for projects
• Forecasts completion times accurately
• Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects against plan drawings and specifications utilizing tools as needed for field verification
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues
• Emphasizes and demonstrates safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on personal protective equipment (PPE)
