POLICE DISPATCHER

The City of West Bend is accepting applications for a full time Police Dispatcher position. The successful candidate must be of good moral character, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be competent in the use of technology, and have an above average ability to communicate effectively. Dependability and confidentiality are a must. Prior dispatch experience preferred, but not mandatory. Must be able to work weekends, afternoons, and/or nights. Starting base salary for 2022 is $49,968 plus a competitive benefit package.
Candidates selected to participate in the hiring process will complete an initial online testing process to determine eligibility. Additional selection criteria will include an interview, background check, and drug screen.
