Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI), is looking to fill both a full time and a part time (24 hours per week) Occupational Therapist position. WMHI is a psychiatric hospital providing quality mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Position Summary
The Occupational Therapists (OT) conduct assessment, intervention, program planning and treatment implementation using theory-based (specialized techniques) evaluations and interventions. In addition, these positions participate in clinical training of OT or OT Assistant students.
Salary Information
The starting pay will be between $32.00 -$39.00 per hour, plus excellent benefits. The pay schedule/range is 11/03. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current of former employees is based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
Job Details
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB screen prior to their start date.
Employees are required to provide documentation of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by their start date. Exceptions will be granted to those who obtain an approved medical or religious accommodation or those who provide documentation requiring a delay in receiving the vaccine.
Qualifications
Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following:
Certification or eligible for certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services. You must obtain licensure within 3 months of hire.
Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of the following:
Experience planning & leading groups, interventions, and programming.
Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Experience working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system such as Cerner or Epic.
