FIREFIGHTER- Full Time
City of West Bend
The City of West Bend is seeking applications from qualified persons for the establishment an eligibility list for employment as a Paramedic/Firefighter. Numerous expected openings beginning January of 2023. Applications were due by 1:00 p.m. on September 1, 2022. We will now be collecting resumes for the next hiring event.
Minimum Requirements by Date of Hire:
18 years of age
Be a high school graduate or equivalent
Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Certification as Firefighter I by the State of Wisconsin or an IFSAC accredited agency
State of Wisconsin Licensed EMT (Paramedic preferred).
Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) certificate
The CPAT certificate is acceptable if dated within 1 year at the time the of commission interview
Lateral transfer salary and vacation time adjustments are available for qualified candidates with prior experience as a full time firefighter.
