After being established on September 11, 1956, the Oak Creek Police Department has continued to be a progressive leader in law enforcement dedicated to serving the citizens of Oak Creek. We continue to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and service through education, continued training and using our Mission Statement as our guide.
We currently employ 63 full-time sworn personnel, 19 full-time emergency dispatch personnel, 6 full-time support-staff members and 6 part-time support-staff. We have over 15 specialty units that personnel can also be a part of, such as: Use of force Trainers, K9, School Resource Officers, Emergency Response Unit, Special Enforcement Unit, Evidence Technicians, Bicycle Patrol and Honor Guard.
