The Appleton Fire Department, located in Appleton, Wisconsin, has a staff of 96 men and women providing service from six fire stations strategically located throughout the City of Appleton.
We have mutual aid assistance agreements with most of the surrounding municipalities in the Fox River Valley area.
In addition to fire suppression, the department provides a full range of fire prevention, life safety education, emergency medical response and rescue response services.

It is my great honor to be serving as the Fire Chief for the City of Appleton. I am so proud of the unwavering devotion shown by the men and women of the Appleton Fire Department. They are devoted to our community and strive for excellence in everything they do. The members are dedicated to reducing the effects of fires and dangerous conditions through training and education, prevention and public education, rescue and emergency response activities. The City of Appleton and the Appleton Fire Department are committed to building strong partnerships to protect lives and property within the community we serve. Our combined efforts will enhance safety and the quality of life in the Fox Valley.
